TL;DR Character Relationship Meme
(A Cheat Sheet for CR Charts)

Step one: post with your characters.
Step two: respond to other people's characters with your characters.
Step three: they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character. TL;DR is encouraged; that's how this works.
Optional step four: discuss it with them if you want! Make a big chain of tl;dr if you're up to it.
Step five: other people do the same thing to you! Maybe you even harvest your tl;dr to use in a CR chart later.
Step six: keep checking back in so that no one is ever late!

Murderdad!

So Edea is genuinely and sincerely fond of everyone in their murderfamily, first off, because of their shared experience, and also because of the way things were set up. Even though it was just a few short nights and it was kinda fakey because of the mind control, she really came to appreciate what they had in that clubhouse. When she was younger, she didn't receive much familial love, and she didn't have friends more than she had like mentors (mentors she ended up having to kill because they were doing horrifically evil things). So just having the chance to sit around and relax to be silly was really great! She had that with her RPG party back at home, too, but they were always rushing around saving one city or another so it wasn't the same as the time they had in the clubhouse either.

On Royce specifically, she doesn't really see him as a 'dad' figure but more as someone on the same-ish level even if they're really far apart in age. She was only really just beginning to get to know him before she ended up in the graveyard, but she had a high opinion about his intelligence and his general competence, and she really was trusting him to try and keep things together for Murderfamily. Ciel was also competent but he was way too much so; Royce was someone who could also sort of keep Ciel from getting to be Too Much, as it were.

Once they ended up in the graveyard together and started talking about their respective apocalypses, she really began to sympathize with his situation. It really isn't... easy to think about your world being obliterated, to say the least, and Royce being able to accept it and to keep pushing forward even still earned him a lot of respect! She doesn't think she'll fail her own mission, but if so, she hopes she can at least be like Royce and be able to pick up the pieces afterwards.

At the end, she really isn't joking when she says Royce is welcome to come with her; he probably wouldn't appreciate fantasyland at all but she really does like and respect him a good deal! Murderdad is legit.

Mahiru was one of the only people who actively tried to be friendly to Edea in those first few days! She really appreciated that, especially knowing Mahiru's own situation. It was hard enough being able to be friendly just coming into this game, but being snatched straight from practically the exact same thing? She understood that friendship didn't necessarily mean anything about trust, of course, but to offer even that made her feel pretty warm and fuzzy.

........which is... part of the reason why she wanted to save Mahiru first....

So the other thing she'd noticed was that Mahiru was really afraid. In the first few trials, she was either pushing hard for execution or just looking and sounding really desperate and fearful, and she felt really awful about it. For Mahiru to be in another situation like this... She really wanted her to understand the truth, that it wasn't real! She wanted to spare her the pain.

Then Mahiru died - but really because Mabel wanted Dipper safe - and Edea died and whoops it wasn't the way she actually thought it was. But Mahiru's first action... was to dive in front of her to protect her! So her affection for Mahiru really shot up again because of that. Without any prompting, Mahiru had understood that the situation the VIPs were in was really something that you couldn't make a quick judgment on.

She was still concerned about Mahiru for a while because of the hopelessness she occasionally expressed, so she gave Missile the secret mission of cheering Mahiru up. Now at the end, Mahiru is one of the non-VIP guessts she has the highest opinion of and she really sincerely hopes that everything will be OK at home...!

spoilers they won't be

Oh Aya...

So honestly the information she distributed was so helpful to the VIP cause at first that all of the VIPs were just like 'well let's just... ignore her.' Personally, she thought Aya was pretty irresponsible and kind of selfish in that she was publishing things even when they could directly cause harm to others. ...It was all fake, of course, but Aya didn't know that!

Then came Day 2 and the general fiasco with the Missile pictures. She really had no idea what the pictures meant at first, since she was being lumped in with Levi, but after speaking with K, she pretty much understood everything that was going to happen. She leapt into damage control mode - she didn't think it would succeed, but... she needed to sound out Aya about what she believed about the pictures. Also she needed to insinuate some lies. So up until then, she thought Aya wasn't too bright and was a useful tool... sorry Aya.

But at the end, her overall feelings on Aya are pretty neutral! As a reporter should be perhaps. She still thinks she's incredibly mercenary, but Aya is smarter than she gave her credit for. She asked a lot of important questions and always questioned things without taking them at face value, which she appreciates. She also tended to not get caught up in the hysteria that the others descended into. Aya generally kept a cool head and honestly the newspapers were entertaining enough and enough work at least that she totally deserved to survive to the end.

Cieellllllll

She's so sad about Ciel. Like honest to goodness if you asked her who came out the worst in this she would answer Ciel and she wouldn't think that was unfair at all. Injuries can be healed by white magic, hurt feelings can be mended, the 'dead' were already revived, but to be so completely broken like that is really just something else altogether.

Back during the Good ol' Days when she was still around, Ciel earned her respect from pretty much the moment he said that he would be fine sharing the burden of the deaths. It was a little weird for such a young kid, but then, as she said later, she felt like she understood where he was coming from given her own childhood. The first few days, she thought it was funny to tease him just because he would do that thing where he puffed up and looked indignant and she thought he really didn't mind underneath that! Then she went too far and he got legitimately angry.

What she got out of that at the time was that Ciel was just at the age where he really needed to prove himself - it was a little patronizing, but she knew the way she felt back then, and there really wasn't anything to do besides support him. He would understand when he got a little older.

...Then the revelation came and oh wait their circumstances weren't the same at all Ciel's were like a million times worse. But in a sense, the same type of motivation was propelling him, so to some degree, she felt she could still dimly understand why he needed to act the way he did and she really did respect that. She also really appreciated that he was actually willing to talk about it with her, since it was an intensely private thing. It would be wrong to answer that sort of trust with anything besides acceptance and support - besides, she would do the same thing in his situation.

When she 'died', she trusted that Ciel would basically keep everyone on track but she also hoped that the others could bring some levity and lightness to his life, too.

And then the VIPs kept rolling in... one after another... and it was just Ciel.

At that point, it was just two small children left and she was really incredibly nervous about the immense amount of pressure that Ciel would feel he was under. And then things just kept getting worse - Oz's shounen speech, Ciel's murder of Oz, Oz's declaration that Ciel intended to end it all the next day... When they broke out of the bunker, really her concern that Ciel might actually hurt someone was equaled by her concern for Ciel that he might just snap and go completely insane.

Then he snapped and went insane.

Now that everything's wrapping up, she still feels an incredible amount of concern for him. He's too young to have gone through so much crap; she'd like to go and just murder everyone who wronged him for him so he doesn't have to deal with it anymore but there's really nothing she can do! And now his soul is bound to a demon and he's going to like go to hell forever or something and she's just struck by how hopeless and tragic his situation is.

Of course she knows he would hate it if she openly said anything along those lines, so... as she said, all she can do is continue to support him. To her it feels kind of hollow because again, there's nothing physically she do, but she hopes, at least, he can go home knowing there's someone who genuinely cares about him still. She doesn't know if that will make him feel better at all, but that's all she's really got...! She also does genuinely respect his drive and motivation - it's coming out of necessity, in a way, but it's incredibly impressive especially now that she's seen how broken he once was.

Murdersis!

Ibuki is the murderfamily member Edea feels the most open affection for; she's ridiculous and silly but it's really impossible not to love her energy and her enthusiasm and her ability to be humanized fun. Edea hadn't had much opportunity to be very silly and spontaneous before, so in the beginning, she was kind of uncertain. But she decided really quickly that you know what, there's no reason they shouldn't have fun, so she rolled with it and really came to genuinely appreciate Ibuki for what she brought to their meetings! Edea also never had anyone like a younger sister in her life, so she very quickly came to see Ibuki that way even though they were pretty close in age. Learning about the other game she already came from also made her feel a bit protective; for Ibuki's sake, they really had to win!

Then she died! ...And everything was terrible because the brainwashing wore off and she saw that Ibuki and Ciel had actually ended up hurting Kazoo for real and she was really afraid that Ibuki would end up in the graveyard and completely freak out about legitimately hurting the people she cared about most. In a sense, she was glad that Ibuki came shortly after she did; Ibuki and Tamaki were really the ones she worried about most (Mabel notwithstanding since she was pretty sure they wouldn't ever let her do any other murders).

Ibuki's debrief was awful and it only intensified her feelings about younger sister hood; she felt super protective of her after that! Protective against whoever had brought them there and also protective against the other guests. They were fine to yell at her as much as she liked, but she would definitely have gone off on anyone if she had seen them harass Ibuki for her role as a VIP. From then on, I like to think she sort of followed Ibuki around glaring at people until the next few VIPs came.

At the end, she really really hopes Ibuki will come out of her game OK even though she didn't get the prize she was promised. She will sincerely miss having an Ibuki in her life and she would offer to have Ibuki come home with her if she likes except she thinks Ibuki would probably rather be with her friends regardless of what they're returning to. She likes to think that, just like this game, they'll all survive against the odds and she'll be fervently praying for her success.

except she doesn't succeed alas =(

Oz! Oz was someone else who was really open about showing friendship and affection early on, so she really did appreciate that! It was a little different from Mahiru because Oz was so much younger than her, but she thought he was pretty adorable and would have liked to get to know him better for sure. Alas that she died pretty quickly and ended up in the graveyard and Oz persisted almost until the end...

But she really did remember his kindness to her even at the end of the trial, and honestly, in light of that, his attempt to turn things around on that last day really shouldn't have been a surprise at all. What was a surprise was his role as the buddy cop and to actually be in a position where he could get everyone to go along with his plan. She was really genuinely touched by this! She'd spent a lot of time in the graveyard and so many people came in really upset and hostile to the VIPs. And just watching the trials from the bunker, she could see that practically everyone was getting hysterical and completely forgetting that the point wasn't to murder everyone; it was to try and break out of this stupid game that someone had trapped them in.

Oz earned a lot of respect from her for being one of the only ones to keep a level head in the face of all this.

........Except that his plan was doomed to failure and getting rid of the VIPs that day probably would have been the better thing to do whoops. But he couldn't really have... known so besides sighing about it a little, she won't like scold him about it or anything. What he tried to was really amazing and in another situation, it would have worked, and he would have been the best of them all.

Sooo before the trial, she hadn't ever really talked to Clash! All she really knew was that Clash was Ibuki's good friend and she thought it was nice that the two of them were getting along so well even in a place like this. Then Clash started going on about how it was a 'betrayal' to say that Missile was a VIP and honestly for a while there she was just completely stymied at how anybody could think that. She still doesn't really understand where that came from; to be blunt, she kind of thought Clash was a little dim after that. It was pretty obvious to everyone that either Missile was lying or she was, so she had to say it was Missile if she wanted to defend herself.

Buuuut anyway she didn't think much about Clash for a while! She wasn't really relevant again until the rogue bomber business and then Edea was just completely agape about it all. The thought was unimaginable; for Clash to be openly bragging about how she had murdered people and how it was the 'role' for her, there was a point where she really would have liked to see Peko or Sheba smack her in the face.

After a little bit of cooldown, though, she realized... that it was possible that there was more to the story. There was more to the VIPs, after all, so... it was perfectly possible that there was more to the rogue bomber. She didn't understand why Clash had revealed herself this way, but she could at least give her the benefit of the doubt for the moment.

Then Maya died and her negative thoughts about Clash kind of returned until the trial... when it all was explained.

She really feels much the same way as Ciel - to try to get everyone to hate her enough so they wouldn't feel bad about killing her... that was a really inherently selfless thing to do! It was misguided because well Maya got killed in the meantime, but when the plan is 'make everyone hate me so I can be killed', you can't really help but feel a little sorry for the planner. Her anger really turned towards the people running this game (again), and she felt a lot of pity for Clash's situation. It was a lot worse for Clash - she was in it alone, and she didn't have anyone else to support her, and she didn't even know the deaths were fake! The decision she made was really incredible.

She still doesn't know Clash very well, but her opinion of her definitely shot up. It's a little too late now, but she hopes at least that Clash will leave knowing that she tried to do something really good.

... yeah K's time was pretty limited. to be completely honest Aya did feel pre bad about Kyouya dying but then rationalized that since he was no-role and a single it was probably for the best and then went about things relatively guilt-free like an asshole.

that's hilarious though, I was not expecting her to survive until endgame really but she was kinda banking on her paper being bullshit/even helpful enough for VIP to ignore it too.

SUPER GREAT

Tamaki is scared they're not friends anymore, but can't bring himself to ask. Because if the answer is "no obviously we're not friends" then what is there to even be said to that? He doesn't deserve to fight to get that friendship back after the whole murder and immediate subsequent night betrayal of the exactly one thing Kyouya requested. And if the answer is "yes of course we're still friends" then are they really still friends or does Kyouya just want to pretend like he did when they first met, in which case he still doesn't have any right to try and fix it. And even if the answer is "don't be stupid, Tamaki" then all that means is Kyouya is lying to himself about how much they aren't friends anymore, oh noooo.

Whiiich is all very melodramatic and blown out of proportion, but I think Tamaki actually does have a fairly reasonable grasp on the overall situation, or would if he could calm the hell down about it. He understands the friendship sins he has committed in addition to his murder sins, and likewise he understands that Kyouya is trying to be reasonable about all of his pain and anger. But he feels so guilty about the whole thing that it clouds his judgment, and the real problem, the thing that makes all of this so hard for him to bounce back from, is that the question he's asking himself isn't "how do I make this better" but "should I try to make this better?" It's like the end of the anime where he's suddenly convinced that the solution to everyone's problems is for him to back off and leave them alone. Maybe Kyouya would be better off without him. (He's going through some similar doubts with Kaoru, too, they're just lurking deeper under the surface since Kaoru's injury gives him something more immediate and physical to be concerned about).

So yeah, I. I don't even know. I think they just need to fight it out. It's like the Sports Day arc except with murder instead of Sports Day.
