She loves Ibuki. Out of every single person in this entire park, she loves Ibuki the most. Like I've stated before, she probably confuses being in love for being best friends since nobody has treated her the way Ibuki has before, but she honestly cares for Ibuki so much. She would do anything for her, go anywhere with her, listen to everything she says and never get annoyed because Ibuki started something nobody else has.
She never felt betrayed that Ibuki ended up being a VIP. By the end of her trial, she knew it was the truth and knew that all she could do was stick beside her and stay with her rather than be against her in the end. Even after all the deaths, she knew Ibuki wasn't lying to her about everything. She wanted to beat the game for the both of them and make it out for the both of them, even if she wasn't physically by her side. She was still there in her thoughts, letters, etc.
Alas, this is before she found out she was the bomber. Ibuki's death made her incredibly angry and willing to strike anyone, it didn't matter to her at all even if she couldn't remember it. Her life was seriously empty without her and she just felt so lost and alone, there was a huge hole in her heart that nobody could replace. She was mad that people didn't understand why she had to stay by Ibuki's side because she felt that she didn't have to explain it at all. It was all there in the way she acted during the trial.
The stress of Ibuki's death is what made her find out she was the bomber though! She started feeling disorientation and strange bouts of derealization, but had nothing to pin it to until she found the detonator in her pocket. Ibuki's loss just hit her that hard that she sabotaged herself to be revealed so that she wouldn't hurt anyone else.
Basically, Clash has never had a best friend. All of her friends were once Vivien's and she only stole them out of jealousy to prove that she was better. The Misfits were her thoughts of "best friends" but she never realized how they treated her until Ibuki treated her so much differently and didn't need to be impressed or constantly have things done for her like Pizzazz and the others do. It was so confusing, but such a relief that she didn't want to let her go, so she promised to stay by her side no matter what. Morning and night, during accusations of her being a VIP, everything. She feared Ibuki's death as much as she feared her own.
The fact that Ibuki didn't hate her for what she did either makes her so happy. Part of the reason why she did it was because of how much she cares for Ibuki. If she were still alive while Clash was a bomber, she would have done the same exact thing: make people hate her and vote for her, because she wouldn't want to harm people but especially Ibuki and Mabel.
So she has all these conflicted feelings because she loves Ibuki, but she thinks that she wants to be with her forever, even knowing her situation. And she does, but she still hasn't separated if it's platonic or romantic. Clash definitely would have given her a firm kiss on the lips at the end of it all. ♥
