TL;DR Character Relationship Meme
(A Cheat Sheet for CR Charts)

Step one: post with your characters.
Step two: respond to other people's characters with your characters.
Step three: they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character. TL;DR is encouraged; that's how this works.
Optional step four: discuss it with them if you want! Make a big chain of tl;dr if you're up to it.
Step five: other people do the same thing to you! Maybe you even harvest your tl;dr to use in a CR chart later.
Step six: keep checking back in so that no one is ever late!

I don't know if Kenny would have much, but!! I'm still curious, since their talk before Kenny died was actually pretty impactful for Ciel, surprisingly.

Ha ha yeah that was mostly a shot in the dark sort of guess into Clash's motives, but she definitely got the general idea. Even if she doesn't really understand it. Most touhous are jerks without much self-doubt, Aya included.

SHE LIKES CIEL SO MUCH.

It's so hard for her to put into words, but she sees a lot of humanity in him where others don't. She never really thought about him much before, but she liked that he always agreed with her theories or whatever she had to say. That is obviously the main point of liking people: they don't disagree with you. So he made an impression on her.

Him, Oz, and Mabel were the only people who truly supported her throughout her whole confession/explanation. She honestly didn't expect him of all people to call her kind or understand where she was coming from, so it really knocked her off guard that, even though they hadn't spoken much, he still saw her as someone who was kind and was performing a selfless act by being selfish. It really resonated with her until her end, which is why she thanked him because it was just so unexpected but so comforting.

She was honestly infuriated that people were doubting him and Oz though, especially because they both stood up for her and took the time to actually see what she was doing rather than want her for bloodthirsty revenge. When she found out he was a VIP, she honestly was not surprised because she figured that was a part of him knowing where her actions came from, but she was so mad that people were discounting his words and actions even knowing the full story (especially if they saw her own debriefing). It really cut into her because they were all treating him like they treated her and it hurt too much to watch it on an outside perspective.

Clash honestly doesn't think of him as a person. She thinks of him how she would think of herself if she delved into it: a scared kid without anyone to see the good in her like their authority figure does (her dad, Sebastian). I think she could easily understand his terror and fear, needing to have this all end so others don't get hurt, because those were her exact reasons of why she did what she did. So she was massively angry at everyone else for not seeing that. :(

She still thinks she shouldn't have suddenly gone back on Missile when he accused her after being so vehement about saving him!! That's based on her weird views of loyalty though because she hasn't had any real friends of her own before and she thinks you're supposed to always stand up for them no matter what they do. As a VIP though, she never really thought bad of Edea. There wasn't any reason to since she didn't have any basis on how they work, but this is a girl who secretly loves the Holograms as much as she loves the Misfits so...

She thought Edea was a little stuck-up at first (thinks the girl who likes putting on a snobby air) but then when she ended up in the graveyard and Edea treated her with such kindness, her whole view changed. Her words were incredibly strong for her at that moment, because she had to spend the entire day hating herself more than usual so she could get herself killed so to be given that kind of positive reinforcement after all that she's done just broke her down even more.

Clash has always been an only child with no siblings or sibling-like figures in her life except for the Misfits. She was never close to her cousin, because Constant and Vivien were always rivals, so for her to take her in like an older sister and treat her so kindly was something she loved and adored, but didn't think she deserved after all that happened. She really likes Edea, but she's also really happy that Edea learned that the whole bloodthirsty animalistic view isn't the way to go after seeing the other end because she was a VIP.

Yuya was so traumatized by the bomber, the fact that he was first and nobody had any clue what was going on made it pretty bad, the details of which you can read summed up in this ic comment.

He actually guessed it could have been Clash because of their one semi-argument but disregarded it because it seemed way too stupid and he didn't want to believe he had been misunderstood that badly. So when she was doing her mad bomber thing, he was absolutely horrified and despair and furious because if it was true, that was like the worst possible scenario he could have imagined. His feelings were so hurt, man. He pretty much stormed out to cry in his goggles and violently kick things.

Ssssooooo when he watched her debriefing and found out she didn't remember anything and wasn't an actual sociopath, he figured out that it must have been a lie but he was adventuring through her trial confession so he never really knew what her deal was. But whatever the case, he felt completely cheated that that was the case and there was never going to be any resolution one way or another to the emotional rollercoaster he was having. So to compensate he's now turning that anger toward their captors and Clash is pretty on board with that so... he's willing to work with her. It's still awkward though so he basically just stepfords really hard in her direction. As of their last conversation it seems like they probably had some stuff in common and could have been friends if this hadn't happened, so that's sad. (And he still thinks she must have had SOME reason for picking him, even if she doesn't remember it and he can't very well ask her what part of her wanted to murder him. SO frustrating.) I doubt he'll approach her for anything else because of the awkwardness but he will totally wreck things with her because they both got hella screwed.

She feels so bad she killed him and that he was her first kill even though she was brainwashed. Like, he and Anise are the youngest people she's killed and she feels awful about it. She knows she won't ever be able to make it up to him, so she doesn't even try and understands his hesitance around her completely.

But she can also understand his posturing, especially because she did and does a lot of her own. If Aya hadn't pointed out how much she loathes herself, she probably wouldn't have realized that and wouldn't have seen the compassion in Yuya. She likes how he talks about his dad too, because her mom left her when she was little, but her dad has been by her side and she assumes if a guy like that just disappeared it's not because he walked out on him.

She thinks he sounds like a nice kid but yeah... all their conversations would be super strained and not at all comfortable, so she doesn't even try. :( She's extremely grateful he is not out for her blood though, especially after Peko's extreme threat.

If she could tell him why he was picked she would! But alas, she doesn't even know why the people she picked were picked and it's a mystery. Both of them will have to live with that not knowing forever.

MAHIRU... Luckily I don't have to hold off since Ciel is a stubborn little punk anyways, so his opinion probably won't change much, but.

Like everyone else in the game until towards the end, Mahiru was just an obstacle to Ciel to start. He didn't ask for her help or hang out with her for any ulterior motives like say, with other dangans that will not be named, and he honestly genuinely enjoyed her company! She was nice to him, even if she scolded him a lot, but more than anything, that experience was bizarre to him. Ciel lives in a life of luxury, and minus his very violent trauma, he's had a very comfortable life where he just doesn't get told "no" very often. Normally, he'd be kind of irritated by how Mahiru treated him, but! He's not an idiot, so he knew he needed help with stuff like food, so he wasn't going to let his pride get in the way of dinner.

That said, when her name came up as a kill, Ciel didn't really care, and in fact, I'm pretty sure he encouraged it for a really cold reason like "she's pretty smart, so we have to kill her" or something like that... There was the brainwashing in effect that made all the VIPs think that they weren't doing anything bad, sure, but Ciel also would have been about that cold if it were real. At that point in the game, he didn't question his role at all, and was selfishly, wholly focused on obtaining his prize, and he would have killed anyone to get it.

What he didn't anticipate, however, was that he'd realize a little too late that Mahiru resembled Madame Red rather closely in looks and personality, and because he only realized it when he saw her head in a mess, it kind of messed him up, to say the least. Ciel didn't actually kill Madame Red in canon, but he feels pretty responsible and deeply guilty over her death anyways, so what happened there was no small amount of Ciel projecting. In retrospect it's kind of funny, because it's almost like foreshadowing to his later breakdown, because his reaction to Mahiru's body was totally, 100% genuine, but he managed to keep it together, unlike later...

That said, he doesn't quite feel guilty about killing her, because Ciel may know that he was brainwashed pretty badly with how he had to kill Oz, but there's also a part of him that's like "well, we weren't exactly wrong." What he feels is complicated, and I don't think he could even describe it! Because he would apologize for killing people, since he knows the experience is traumatic, but to him, since there wasn't any real death, there's just not as much to apologize for.

A little, at least!!

I'll start with Kyouya since his is shorter, but in a weird way, Ciel respected Kyouya, actually... Ciel respected a lot of the people they killed until towards the very end, since in his mind, it was almost an honor to be killed, in a way, because until they started really narrowing down on the roles, the VIPs were suggesting people because they were too smart or otherwise represented a threat. Kyouya was terribly unlucky with how things played out for him, since I think had the note not been so ill-timed, he probably wouldn't have gotten suggested at all... whoops sorry kyouya... He thinks Kyouya is a sharp, intelligent person, and even though he didn't go to help with his murder, he knew as soon as they voted for him that kyouya would know why right away, at least.

GUNDAM THO

Ciel has more thoughts on Gundam, though they are overwhelmingly negative, because even though Ciel got more mad at K as it went on, Ciel really blames Gundam for the Nui+Francis fiasco. Ciel was seething the whole trial because even though Ciel's sense of justice is a little weird and warped, he was so mad that he was right that they ended up turning towards a mob mentality on a really weak reason.

That said, a lot of that anger is also more for himself, but he directs it at Gundam? Ciel really wanted to point out just how flawed and stupid Gundam's reasoning was, but he felt he couldn't without risking exposing himself too, so he had to stay silent and agree. That's like the only trial that ever really unnerved Ciel and got him to lose his cool, which is why he shonened towards the end of it.

That trial was also a tipping point for Ciel's view of the non-VIPs, since he was so upset at what Gundam did and how everyone went along with it, as well as how Gundam protected Missile even though that one was more petty than anything. But it really made Ciel think that most of the guests were blood-thirsty morons, and he really shifted his strategy after that to be more ruthless in turn... He didn't care so much about getting bloodthirsty guests after himself, but he was really, really worried they would turn on Mabel if they found out. Soooo where Ciel would have been like "I really don't give a damn about the guests waking up peacefully" and would have just ignored Crocs' suggestions for that, Gundam basically made him decide "fuck it" which is why someone got decapitated and burned alive

so yeah, thanks gundam, keeping on gundaming
